Logan Morrison went 4-4, including two home-runs, and Felix Hernandez pitched seven innings and gave up only two runs as the Seattle Mariners blasted the Boston Red Sox 12-3.  It was the Mariners fourth straight win to go five games over 500 for the second time this year.

Hernandez won for the first time since June 2 to go 9-2 on the seaon. The Mariners used a six-run fourth inning to knock out Red Sox starter John Lackey. It was Lackeys shortest outing since September of 2011.

The Mariners host the Red Sox again tonight at Safeco field as Erasmo Ramirez pitches for the Mariners going for their fifth straight win.
