LaVar Ball released the first Big Baller Brand exclusive Lonzo Ball sneaker, the ZO2, last week and according to him it’s the biggest selling shoe in the world. According to TMZ, Ball says he's sold 495 pairs of his $495 sneaker. If you do the math, the shoe earn him an estimated $245,000.

Mr. Ball appeared on FS1’s Undisputed program to explain why his sneaker cost $495 and the controversy around the shoe. When asked why the sneaker is so expensive, Ball replied, “Because that’s what I think the shoe is worth.”

“The Lonzo shoe is symbolic, that comes with a price tag,” he continues. “[My son] is the first one ever to come in here without even playing a game [in the NBA] and have his own brand.”

"The ZO2 means something,” he added.

Mr. Ball also says people have bought the special autographed $995 edition of the shoe but wouldn't reveal how many pairs have been sold. He also fired back at Shaquille O'Neal who criticized him for making his shoe so expensive.
