Knicks Jason Kidd Arrested For DWI
You can't spell Jason Kidd without "D-D."
Unfortunately for the 10-time N.B.A. All-Star, he neglected to remember the other "D-D" that stands for "Designated Driver."
The newly-acquired point guard was busted for drunken driving early yesterday morning after he crashed his Cadillac Escalade into a power pole, following a night of partying .
He was the only passenger in the vehicle at the time of the accident and admitted to police that he had "had a few drinks."
Kidd was processed at police headquarters and held for arraignment after being released from the hospital for treatment of minor injuries. He was released on his own recognizance.
