Seattle Mariners righthander Hisashi Iwakuma went the distance Wednesday afternoon by throwing a no-hitter in the 3-0 victory over the Baltimore Orioles.

Iwakuma (4-2) recorded 77 strikes on 116 pitches, including seven strikeouts, three walks, eleven ground-outs and seven fly-outs in the effort, marking the fifth no-hitter in Mariners franchise history.

Although enough punch in the bats from Franklin Gutierrez, Robinson Cano and Jesus Sucre recording runs batted in to make it interesting.
