COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) — The women's NCAA Tournament gets underway today with half of the 64-team field playing. The Maryland women face Bucknell today at noon at College Park. Despite its displeasure with being a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament, fourth-ranked Maryland need only win twice at home this weekend to reach the Sweet 16. One more victory after that, and the Terrapins could end up facing unbeaten, No. 1 Connecticut for the right to advance to the Final Four.

Also at College Park, West Virginia faces Elon at 2:30 p.m.

Notre Dame faces Robert Morris tonight at 7:30 p.m. at South Bend, Indiana. This season marks the seventh time overall, and the sixth time straight, where Notre Dame (30-3) is a top seed. In the previous six games, the Irish have won by an average score of 90-49. The largest margin of victory was 93-42 in 2014 against Robert Morris (22-10).

Earlier in the evening, Green Bay vs. Purdue at 5 p.m. in Indiana

At Starkville, Mississippi, it's DePaul vs. Northern Iowa at noon and Mississippi State vs. Troy at 2:30 p.m.

Kentucky plays Belmont at noon, followed by Ohio State and. Western Kentucky at 2:30 p.m. Both games are in Lexington, Ky.

At Austin, Texas, NC State plays Auburn at noon. It's Texas vs. Central Arkansas at 2:30 p.m.

It's South Carolina vs. UNC-Asheville at 5 p.m. at Columbia, followed by Arizona State vs. Michigan State at 7:30 p.m.

It's Missouri vs. South Florida at 5 p.m. and Florida State vs. Western Illinois at 7:30 p.m., at Tallahassee.

And at Corvallis, Ore., Oregon State plays Long Beach State at 5 p.m. and Creighton plays Toledo at 7:30 p.m.
