On a day where a new NBA/NHL arena in Seattle came a step closer to reality, the KIT Morning News had a chance to delve into the SuperSonics move to Oklahoma City with filmmaker Adam Brown.

Today, the King County Council approved a deal with investor Chris Hansen to build a new arena in Seattle that would accommodate an NBA team and perhaps an NHL team.

To get a better understanding on why the NBA’s Seattle Sonics were moved to Oklahoma City, the KIT Morning News talked to film documentarian Adam Brown. Brown and his partners produced the film “Sonicsgate”, which chronicles the events that led to the Sonics’ move.
