PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — Borislava Hristova scored 17 points, Maria Kostourkova and Dawnyelle Awa added 12 each and Washington State cruised past Colorado 83-70 Thursday night, leading from beginning to end.

Colorado, after a slow start, came within 30-27 in the second quarter, but Awa hit consecutive 3-pointers to push the lead to 36-27, and it grew from there.

Hristova, from Varna, Bulgaria, extended her freshman scoring mark to 185 made field goals, best in WSU history, making 7 of 16 field goals against Colorado. The Cougars (14-14, 5-12 Pac-12) shot 29 for 55, finishing above 50 percent for the third time this season and had five players score in double figures.

WSU, with three blocks in the game, tied the school's single-season record of 114.

Kennedy Leonard led Colorado (7-21, 2-15) with 20 points — her second-straight 20-point game — and Jamee Swan added 14, her 20th game in double-digit scoring this season.
