RENTON, Wash. (AP) — Kam Chancellor's holdout from Seattle Seahawks' training camp has extended to a sixth day. The second-team All-Pro strong safety was absent again from camp yesterday as he continues to seek a new contract from the team. Head coach Pete Carroll said it's an issue of concern for both sides. Carroll said he has not had any communication with Chancellor in a few days.

RENTON, Wash. (AP) — The Seattle Seahawks have activated All-Pro free safety Earl Thomas from the physically unable to perform list, raising hopes he'll be ready for the regular-season opener. Seattle announced Thomas had passed his physical and been added to the active roster following practice.
