Not only is Seattle general manager John Schneider stuck waiting until the very end of the first round to make his initial pick, he has only six selections heading into this week's NFL draft.

For a team that has found so much success stocking up on middle-round picks and finding gems with those selections, that's a paltry amount for the Seahawks and Schneider.

The Super Bowl champion Seahawks hold the No. 32 pick in the first round. But it's what the Seahawks lack after the first round that stands out. Having only six selections heading into the draft makes for the fewest for Seattle since 2006, when Seattle also made just six picks.

That lack of selections has raised speculation Seattle might trade out of the first round in the hopes of getting more picks later in the draft.
