The US Army Reserves 6th JAG Legal Operations Detachment has opened a legal assistance office on the Yakima Training Center

The third Saturday of every month they will offer no-cost legal assistance to active duty, reserve, retired service members (with I.D. card) and their dependents as well as those receiving disability through the V.A.

Services include wills, powers of attorney, living wills, health care directives, health care powers of attorney, special powers of attorney as well as general legal advice involving Landlord-Tenant law, consumer protection law, bankruptcy, military benefits, estate planning, family law, and general legal counseling.

This Saturday (March 16th) marks the first from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. on the Yakima Training Center in building 301.

There are four JAG attorneys (one LTC, one Major and two Captains) who will staff this office.

It is on a first-come, first-served basis as space is limited.
