“This would have been a wonderful opportunity for Trace Adkins to come out and support our fire devastated community and bring some spirit and support.  He could have made a difference when our community needed it the most, it’s unfortunate that his team chose to cancel”, said Lori Watts, owner of Swiftwater Cellars. “But the show must go on, our community needs us and we need them, it’s the least we can do to show our support.”

The Taylor Bridge Fire broke out Monday at a bridge construction project and burned 70 homes in its path.  The fire is over 20 miles from the Swiftwater Cellars location.

The outpouring of support from Swiftwater Cellars patrons and the community has been positive. Many VIP ticket holders have opted to donate their refunded tickets to the benefit. Swiftwater’s September 7th Headliners “Lonestar” called in with a five thousand dollar donation to the Red Cross Taylor Bridge Fire, along with donations from national companies such as Redhook Brewery of Kegs for Friday’s concert.

Donations and food proceeds from tonight’s FREE concert will all go the local Red Cross Taylor Bridge Fire Fund held at U.S Bank in Ellensburg, Washington. Alexis, Trace Adkins opening act will be performing along with Hit Explosion playing cover songs from the 70’s and 80’s all starting at 5pm.
