Former Raiders tight end and five-time Pro Bowler Todd Christensenhas died from complications during liver transplant surgery. He was 57. After playing for Brigham Young, Christensenwas a second-round pick for the Dallas Cowboys in the 1978 NFL draft. He was waived by the Cowboys after training camp but landed the next year with the Raiders, where he played for 10 seasons at tight end. After his retirement in 1988, he went on to a career in broadcasting and most recently worked for CBS Sports Network.

Christensen grew up in the Eugene area and stared at Sheldon High School.
