Ex-NBA Player Darryl Dawkins Passes at 58

(AP) — The man known as "Chocolate Thunder" because of his dunking ability in the NBA, Darryl Dawkins, has passed away. Dawkins, who played in the NBA for 14 seasons, died at the age of 58. Because of his backboard-shattering dunks, the use of breakaway rims was instigated in basketball worldwide.
