NEW YORK (AP) — A rare legal win for DraftKings and FanDuel. An appeals court in New York says the daily fantasy sports sites can continue operating in the state while they appeal a judge's order that they halt play. The decision by the appeals court in Manhattan comes a month after one of the judges on the panel stayed a lower court's forcing the companies to stop doing business. Attorney General Eric Schneiderman sued the sites to end their operations, claiming they act as illegal gambling venues. The case will next go before the court during its May term.
