Curt Shilling Pulled From ESPN Little League World Series Broadcasts
SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (AP) — He was once famous for a foot that wore a bloody sock during a key game in the American League Championship Series. But now Curt Schilling is making news for putting his foot in his mouth. He posted an anti-Muslim tweet — and that got him kicked off ESPN's broadcasts of the Little League World Series. Schilling re-tweeted a post that said, "Only 5-10% of Muslims are extremists. In 1940, only 7% of Germans were Nazis. How'd that go?" The post was taken down — and so was Schilling. The former major league pitcher accepts his punishment, saying he was guilty of "a bad decision in every way."
