Chris Cornell Loved Seattle and the Seahawks and Once Even Narrated a Hype Video For Them

The 2013 Seahawks Super Bowl-winning team certainly electrified the entire city of Seattle – including native son and rock music icon Chris Cornell.

Cornell passed away yesterday in Detroit following a Soundgarden concert and is being remembered with a moment of silence before tonight’s Mariners game against the Chicago White Sox.

Here is a hype video leading up to Super Bowl 48 that Cornell narrated that also incorporates his song “My Wave“. In the two-minute clip, Cornell extols the virtue of the 12’s and asks “What is that sound? Maybe you just can’t hear it. You must not be from here.”
