With little to do as far as participating or competing in live sporting events, Masaki Matsumoto, head football coach at Lincoln High School decided to put a Twitter helmet tourney together in conjunction with the Twitter site National High School Helmet Tourney.

As the Yakima Valley Pippins continue to prepare for a shortened 2020 season amid uncertainty caused by the coronavirus pandemic, team officials are turning their attention to a vital operations element each year: securing host families for incoming players.
