Robinson Cano is back in the Seattle Mariners' lineup after missing four games with a bone bruise in his left hand.

The Mariners were set to play Cano's former team, the New York Yankees, on Monday night in the makeup game for a rainout on April 30. Cano says he's feeling much better.

Seattle went 2-2 without Cano. The second baseman is hitting .327 with two homers and 31 RBIs in 52 games for his new ballclub.

Cano had not missed more than three games in a season since 2006, his second in the big leagues.

The five-time All-Star said he was prepared for the same angry reception he got when the Mariners were last in New York. Cano was also grateful that former teammate CC Sabathia supported him after hearing the booing.
