While 2016 has been a great year for sneakerheads so far, the releases planned for the next six months have sneakerheads patently waiting for a few coveted releases. Among those sneakers is the classic Air Jordan 5 Retro "Metallic," a sneaker that plenty of Jordan heads have been anticipating for awhile.

Set to drop this summer, the 2016 version of the Air Jordan 5 "Metallic" features a black, silver and fire red upper. The highlight of this year's rerelease will be the shoes heel, which will feature the original “Nike Air” branding on the backend while the tongue will include the Jumpman logo as usual. Taking inspiration from the OG Air Jordan 5, this "Metallic" version will be highly sought-after with much demand behind this pair of shoes.

The 2016 version of the Air Jordan 5 Retro "Metallic" is scheduled to drop on Saturday, June 23, at select Jordan Brand and Nike Basketball retailers. The pair of shoes are set to retail for a suggested price of $220 and will be available while supply lasts.
