The A.C. Davis High School boys basketball team overcame a double-digit deficit midway through the third quarter at Eisenhower High School's gym Saturday night, dramatically earning their right to play in the WIAA Hardwood Classic in the Tacoma Dome with a 58-56 victory over Gig Harbor.

The Pirates' Class 4A regional playoff win was one of the most memorable comebacks in prep basketball lore in the Yakima Valley.

It sets up Davis to play Richland in the opening day of the tournament on Thursday morning (March 5), with a scheduled tip-off time of 10:30 a.m. Pregame coverage begins at approximately 10 a.m.

Thursday's game will be aired on AM1460-ESPN Radio and streamed online via the Listen Live link at 1460espnyakima.com.
